Drivers' License Point System

New York Traffic Ticket Attorney

Avoiding Points on Your Driver's License

The New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has instituted a points system which assigns a specific number of points to traffic violations depending on their severity. Once a driver accumulates 11 points, their license may be suspended. Driving privileges may also be revoked if a driver has three speeding convictions within an 18-month period. If you have received a traffic ticket, contact our law firm to discuss how we may be able to help you avoid points on your driver's license.

Riebling, Proto & Sachs, LLP helps people who have received traffic tickets, or have been charged with drunk driving / DWI. Our attorney also provides information and education regarding license implications if you are convicted of any of a number of different traffic violations.
