Stephen J. Riebling, Jr.
For almost two decades Stephen has diligently served his many criminal, civil and family law clients and has litigated hundreds of matters for both individuals and private businesses. Working in the federal and State Courts of New York and Connecticut, he successfully litigated numerous civil accident claims, felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, family law cases (including child custody and visitation, child support and family offense petitions), divorce and separation actions. With over 40 successful trial verdicts to his credit, Stephen is well-known for his effective legal strategies and arguments in courthouses throughout the States of New York and Connecticut.
Stephen received special praise and recognition for successfully litigating an international contract dispute before the International Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. That litigation resulted in a significant award on behalf of his client who’s personal and business relationships were being affected by a party from another country.
He regularly appears in the local, county and state courts throughout New York and Connecticut, defending his many clients who have been arrested and charged with crimes ranging from traffic/criminal violations to criminal misdemeanors and felonies.
Stephen also utilizes his trial experience to assist his various family law and divorce clients by successfully arguing their cases before the judges and support magistrates in the family courts of New York and Connecticut.
A graduate of Pace University School of Law, Stephen received the honor of attending and competing in the National Trial Advocacy Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota where law students from around the country appeared to demonstrate their courtroom skills. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Richmond, where he played intercollegiate football as a scholar athlete.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and Connecticut, as well as in Federal Courts of New York. He is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and the Assigned Counsel Panel for Westchester County.
